ty@gorillasoapbox.com Although Ty grew up in the heart of the South, he knew early in life that he would end up in California working in entertainment industry. From the time he could walk till he graduated from high school, Ty participated in stage and musical performances, not only as an actor, but as a set designer, a musician and a director. He received a scholarship to study art at the School of Visuals Arts in New York city. Ty graduated with a BFA then headed West to explore the field of marketing & advertising. He has worked as an illustrator, art director, designer and animator for ten years. Ty has developed creative pieces for Colgate, a Fortune 500 energy company and Sony Music. He won two Rx awards for a creative campaign for Baxter Pharmaceuticals and has been recognized for his motion graphics skills and character animation produced with Macromedia ( Adobe ) Flash. Ty has remained a geek at heart and loves Sci-fi, anime and muppets. He brings a toybox full of talent and skill to Gorilla Soapbox. |
